Serious Drama As Landlord Brutally Flogs Married Woman With Husband’s Belt In Lagos
A landlord has reportedly gotten himself into serious trouble after allegedly beating a married women with her husband’s belt.
Bassey Wilson, a 51-year-old landowner, was on Wednesday charged in an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for purportedly beating a wedded lady with a belt.
NAN reports that Wilson, a representative, who lives at Ahmadiyya, Meiran, a suburb of Lagos, is being striven for strike.
The blamed professedly dedicated the offense on July 7 at his home, the prosecutor, Sgt Godwin Awase, told the court.
He said that the blamed attacked Mrs Victoria Obioha, his inhabitant, by flagellating her with the belt which brought about a few wounds on her body.
“The complainant washed and spread her spouse police uniform and belt on a clothesline.
“The blamed expelled the garments where the complainant hung them and seized them in light of the fact that there was a contention over where the garments were spread.
“The complainant pursued him so as to recover the uniform and belt before entering his place.
“Be that as it may, the denounced turned on her and utilized her spouse belt to beat her few times everywhere on her body, bringing about wounds.
“The uniform and belt are still with the charged.
“The case was accounted for and the denounced was captured,” the prosecutor said.
The offense, he stated, negated Section 173 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the area recommends three years imprison term for strike.
The charged, notwithstanding, argued not liable and the Magistrate, Mrs F.F. George, allowed him abandon self-acknowledgment.
She suspended the case till Friday.
